Welcome To My Wedding Messages

Edgar Degas

Degas was born in Paris in 1834, died in Paris in 1917, almost blind.
family Belleli (1858-62) Museum d 'Orsay , Paris
In this family portrait we see the aunt Deagas , Laura with her husband and two children. Laura is expecting a third child, even if the pregnancy is not seen in the painting.
L ' absinthe (1876), Museum d 'Orsay , Paris
This painting, among the most famous and at the time of the most discussed Degas, which depicts two patrons at the cafe with his eyes empty, the glass front they contain wormwood (recognizable by the pale green), a liquor strong and very popular at the time, but also considered very harmful. As models Degas chose two of his friends. The actress and painter Andre Desboutin .
an opera that was defined by critics of the nasty, hateful, vulgar.
Fantini at Longchamp (1874 circa), Museo of Fine Arts Boston.
Ogni dettaglio e ben curato. The man in the 'shadow has a safe attitude, even if the woman lit, highlights its weaknesses, making knees, under the gaze of man.

The office of Musson (1873) Museum of Beaux-Arts, Pau
The picture was painted during a visit to relatives.

The dance school (1875-76)
Miss Lala at the circus Fernando.81879) National Gallery London

Edgar Degas was one of the central figures of Impressionism and the most fruitful, in terms of social and Art is distinguished from the whole movement.
The favorite themes of impressionism, were the landscapes, Degas preferred but the interior scenes, especially the figures of dancers, laundresses women to the bathroom, while the paintings were outside the subjects repeated the jockeys.
In recent years the problems of view which he suffered became worse. He spent the final years of age in total solitude. Degas
was consecrated between the artistic geniuses of the nineteenth century.

take my hand

Take me by the hand Oh my sweet thoughts,
that you choose and my dreams turn to tears, those tears
, accept that the pain has made
grace. Take my hand and hear my voice
sweet thoughts of the soul, and accept that
tears that the grief has given thanks.
Take me by the hand oh my sweet thoughts,
smile and accept that this life that every moment
calls us and whispers thoughts of
hope. He loves this life
gift of the spirit that has made it a pain to grazia.Prendimi
hand and listen to this loneliness that gradually becomes gradually
tear, tear hope,
tears of love, tears of man who seeks a smile
given to him by a child
hands him a hand. Take me by the hand oh
solitude, you choose which men call
by name, welcome sign
these tears of pain absurd, so these eyes
blinded by the sun can finally find peace,
that's a pain gave thanks.

A WAY TO OUR HOPES
The purpose of our life is to serve the Force that created us, and whose mercy or approval depends on the nostro stesso respiro, servendo con lealtà le Sue creature.
I have not given up all my hopes, because they seem absurd and impracticable, in spite of everything I still have to, because I still believe in the intimate human goodness, I can not build anything on the basis of death, I see the world slowly mutate into a wilderness, I hear the ever approaching thunder that will kill us as well, sharing in the grief of millions of men, yet when I look at the sky, I think it all goes back to the good that also will stop this merciless hardness which will return the order, peace, serenity, while I keep my ideals, there will come a time that will still attuabili. In I wrote a poem of mine: my eyes were there waiting for properties like hopes fato.Ognuno of us in their own hearts lit the flame of hope and each manifests in different ways giving a smile, or as Anne Frank wrote that looking the sky was clear that one day something changed, or as the poet wrote Bernard Dadi in his opera was born a new world, no longer looks of anguish, no more looks of hatred, we will be brothers, and if the sky c 'is a light will illuminate for our love, and if the foliage is a melody will be to rock our sleep, we will be brothers, we will be united, and stars galore Pure as the eyes of the wise will be much brighter when our destino.Diversamente other writers have pointed out the cruel reality of the soldier reduced to cannon fodder, as he wrote the poet Wilfred Owen denied that in his poetry what he had sung The Latin poet Horace "It 's sweet and honorable to die for their country" and ended his opera, Owen wrote, in dreams you too could walk behind the wagon gasping in which flung him in, and watch the white eyes, twisted on his face , his face defeat, like that of a devil sick of sin, at every jolt could hear the blood gurgling out of the lungs foamy, mangled, as the rot d’orrende piaghe incurabili su lingue innocenti , amico mio , non ripeteresti con tanto nobile ardore “Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori “ ; a volte come scriveva Salvatore Quasimodo .

My soul

My soul was there absorbed, and
heard your silent tears, like dew
that rested on my heart, a heart that

became dry as desert sand.
My soul smiles when
see your smiling eyes
my soul cries when he thinks of your tears,
my soul is sad to your sadness,
my soul hopes in your hopes,
faith of my soul your faith,
my soul prays that Lord,
same for all men, my soul hopes in

that love which is not a false pearl, but
only hope, lighting
the hearts of those who now have planted a seed,
dying in this land,
to give birth to a new life.
